Incident alert

At approximately 4:30pm on Friday, September 19th, Canterbury Vol Fire crews along with Connecticut State Police were dispatched to the area of 25 Wauregan Rd for reports of a single motor vehicle crash. Units on arrival observed a black dodge pickup a few feet from the road surface and down an embankment. Both occupants of the vehicle self extricated and were transported to Plainfield ED with minor injuries. Crews remained on scene to oversee the vehicle removal by Auto Lock towing and shortly after returned to service. Any other questions can be directed to the Connecticut State Police troop D.
