Cadet Program

The Canterbury Volunteer Fire Company Cadet Program has been instituted as a training program for young men and women age 14-17 who are intersted in serving their community in a firefighter and/or EMS roll. Cadets serve in a support role for the senior staff at emergency calls and attend trainings as a group as well as with the full company. At age 18, cadet members are eligible for full membership to the Canterbury Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.

Eligible candidates must be in good academic standing at the time of application and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and must have signed consent by a parent or legal guardian.
